Scott Williamson is the Executive Director of Law Enforcement, Brand and Inspection Services for Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association. He served 8 years as a brand inspector and 23 years as a Special Ranger before his current appointment. Scott leads 29 Special Rangers and 65 Market Inspectors across Texas and Oklahoma and is commissioned by the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Special Ranger and by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation as a Ranger.
Scott has extensive investigative experience in financial, banking and collateral felony criminal investigations. Scott holds a master peace officer certification, peace officer instructor license in Texas and Oklahoma, firearms instructors license and serves as an agriculture advisor to the FBI and Home-Land Security.
Scott is a past president of International Livestock Identification Association and Western States Livestock Investigators Association. Scott received a bachelor’s degree in Range Management from Abilene Christian University and is actively engaged with his wife Sandy in their wheat and cattle operations in Jones County Texas.
